The Launch NY Seed Fund LLC has invested $50,000 in Rachel’s Remedy, a new medical device company that developed a product that provides breast pain relief to breastfeeding mothers.
This was the first investment by the seed fund, which was established to fill a gap in early-stage funding for entrepreneurs. The fund is available across the 27 counties of the western half of upstate New York.
Rachel’s Remedy, founded by Rachel Jackson, will use the investment to support manufacturing and marketing activities.
